Brianne Selman, Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian, and Larissa Wodtke, Program Officer, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism, Decolonization (EDI/AR/D) and Research facilitate this Research Starts Here (RSH) session that will cover Citational Politics and Amplifying Diverse Voices. This session will provide an overview of citational politics and why they matter when designing your research projects and mentoring your trainees with EDI in mind. There will also be a discussion of how citational politics affect research assessment. There will be time for questions at the end of the workshop.
