Curatorial Dreaming: Love Medicine

Love Medicine PosterThis June, members of Thinking Through The Museum were grateful to host a Curatorial Dreaming Workshop at the University of 91全能版 to support the development of Dr. Michelle McGeough’s forthcoming exhibit Love Medicine.

The workshop brought experienced and emerging Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer curators from across Canada together to experiment, vision, and dream during the two-day event that included tours of the Two-Spirit Archives and the Urban Shaman Gallery of Contemporary Indigenous Art alongside development work lead by facilitators Adrienne Huard and Dr. Shelley Butler. McGeough's Love Medicine is offered as a love letter to her community, addressing the profound absences of 2S/Indigiqueer lives in public archives, museums, and galleries. The exhibit will open at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina in 2026.
